Dear Friends,
We celebrated our first Anniversary!!! It is so hard to
believe that we are a year old already. Thank you again for all
your support and business, we truly appreciate each of you!!!
Now, if only the weather would get nice so we could enjoy
some front porch knitting. Hopefully spring will be here soon.
We have a lot to share with you. A new class schedule, some
special events and do we ever have lots of new yarn!!! Stop
by and check it all out. Now you might want to grab your
calendar and a cup of coffee or tea.
On Sat. March 29th we will be exhibiting at the 23rd Black
Swamp Market Day & Fiber Fair. This is held at the Junior
Fair Building at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Bowling
Green. It runs from 9a.m.-4p.m.
Did someone say Yarn Tasting??? Yes! Friday April 11th from
6:30-8:30, we will be having a yarn tasting. The cost is $10.00
and advanced reservations are required. Space is limited so
register early.
May 12-19th we will have the Ann Budd Trunk Show
featuring socks from Ann’s book Getting Started Knitting
Socks. This should be GREAT!!
Hey batter, batter! Stitch N’ Pitch with the Hens! Thursday,
June 12th @7:00 PM. We will be there and not here. Yarn
Haven will close early that day at 5:00. See you at the game!!
June 7-16 we will have the Tofutsies Boot Camp. More
information will be available as this gets closer.
Much fun and knitting was had at our knitting retreat in
February. Pictures are on the website. A BIG thanks to Karen
for all her hard work organizing this event!
We are also welcoming Colleen Faulkner to our teaching
staff! Colleen will be teaching rug punching. Stop by and see
her wonderful work. She is truly an artist.
